The founder, Joshua "J.T." Stone, is a current sophomore at Ithaca High School, located in Ithaca, NY, at the time of writing this. Started back in October of 2016, Fun Fact of the Day has been a new-feed outlet based on a daily email subscription devoted to spreading all the latest news. These in-depth descriptions and thorough reports about news in popular culture are also meant to serve as a nice break in someone's casual day. From actors, singers and celebrities, to new video games and movie releases, to even popular memes and sporting events, FFOTD reports on fundamentally everything and anything relating to the world of pop culture. The email group currently has over 450 members.
